Dr. John Rumble has is an experienced, certified coach who specializes in leadership and personal growth coaching. Since completing American University’s program on leadership coaching, he has successfully worked with a wide variety of clients performances. John has also been a coach for the Loyola University (Maryland) Leadership Essentials Program for several years. He is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Leadership Coaching

John combines his analytical and scientific skills with years of executive experience to help individuals and government, industry, and non-profit organizations improve their leadership performance and reach personal and organization goals. He focuses on helping current and future leaders to first “Lead Oneself” and then pursue an “Assess, Set Goal, Make Plans, and Take Action” model to grow leadership skills.

A key to his leadership coaching success is the recognition that each person brings different skills and knowledge to their leadership challenges. He works closely with his clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses and design actions for improvement, often on an ongoing, long-term basis.

Personal Growth Coaching

As a change coach, John focuses on career change, personal growth, and retirement coaching for individuals in diverse fields and of all ages. He specializes in working with people in transition, helping them define goals, and identifying pathways to achieve them. With many years of experience in hiring, interviewing, and managing people in small and large businesses, academia, government, and non-profit organizations, John has insights into how people can identify the changes they want to make and design actions to achieve their goals Dr. Rumble received a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Indiana University, Bloomington. He has received many honors for his work including having been named Fellow of seven national and international scientific societies. In 2006, Rumble was awarded the CODATA Prize for his achievements. He has authored three books, written over 60 technical papers, and given more than 150 talks on five continents.
